Earlier this month, NCRP launched its new benefits package for nonprofit members. These exclusive offerings will give our members the services they need to better carry out their missions, while adding their voices to the growing movement to improve philanthropy.

Whether you are a current member eligible for our new benefits, or a prospective member seeking to learn more, here are the ten most important things to know about our revamped membership program

1. A “Professional” subscription to the Foundation Directory Online is now included with NCRP membership. The Foundation Center’s Directory Online includes information about more than 120,000 grantmakers, including sortable listings of grants offered. With this resource, your organization can better prospect potential funders and get all of the information you need about funders in one location. The Professional subscription is the most comprehensive plan that the Foundation Center offers, retailing at $1,295 per year. This offer is not available for those already with a Foundation Directly Online subscription.

2. Your membership is a VIP pass to exclusive NCRP events. NCRP events draw together a unique combination of foundation and nonprofit professionals working to promote equity and justice. With your membership, you will be invited to the NCRP Impact Awards reception and similar gatherings. Network with hundreds of foundation and nonprofit executives in attendance, discussing the social justice values we share.

3. Take advantage of discounts on consultants who understand organizations like yours. NCRP has partnered with Roadmap Consulting, a consulting firm that specifically serves nonprofit organizations. Participate in their webinars and trainings, or use their assessment tools that help social justice organizations to further their work.

4. NCRP members form a community of social justice nonprofits. NCRP has formed a community of over 500 organizations dedicated to furthering social justice in the United States. Membership to NCRP offers access to this growing network of change-oriented organizations. Learn about the inspiring work of peers through NCRP’s newsletters and publications and look forward to future networking opportunities.

5. Our partner CiviCRM will help you take advantage of cutting-edge database management solutions. CiviCRM is a free, online constituent relationship management (CRM) system that is specifically designed for the needs of nonprofit organizations. NCRP membership gets you a discount on their membership program, giving you special pricing on different administration plans for the site and trainings about how to maximize usage.

6. Partnering with NCRP gives your organization an insider’s look at foundations funding social justice. NCRP partners with our members to give them exclusive access to information about the rates at which top foundations support marginalized communities and fund social justice strategies like advocacy, civic engagement and community organizing.

7. You can stay informed about the latest trends in the nonprofit sector with a subscription to the Nonprofit Quarterly. The journal is offering a yearly subscription at a discounted rate. Nonprofit Quarterly is the premier national journal focused solely on nonprofits and philanthropy.

8. The NCRP network will elevate your profile within the grantmaking community. Membership to NCRP will give your organization priority to present with us at national conferences, guest post on our blog and write in our publications. All of these efforts will shine a spotlight on the important work that your organization does and will reach hundreds of foundation staff.

9. Human resources support has never been easier with Nonprofit HR. Nonprofit HR’s innovative HR Cooperative offers virtual support tailored to meet the needs of your organization with performance management, talent acquisition, employee relations consulting and workplace trainings on HR issues.
