Dwyane Wade has had his share of success: He’s a 12-time NBA all-star who just signed a two-year, $47.5 million deal with his hometown team, the Chicago Bulls.
Running a nonprofit, however, is hardly a slam dunk, and some charitable governance scouts give him a “needs improvement” score in how his philanthropic efforts are handled. With Wade playing in Chicago next season, the Tribune thought it was a good time to take a quick look at his charity.
