Welcome to the Social Justice Funding Network database!

What is the Social Justice Funding Network (SJFN) database?
This is a free tool which identifies and maps formal and informal organizations, donor networks, and affinity groups that support social justice grantmaking.
What kinds of groups are included here?
Groups in this database promote funding for affirmative action, alternatives to war, racial equality, choice for women, economic equality, community empowerment, environmental justice, LGBT issues, youth rights, and more.
Some groups are actively engaged in funding specific initiatives, issues or geographic areas; others provide a venue for funders to connect and improve their philanthropic practices.
NOTE: Most of the groups in this database do not engage in direct grantmaking. Please read the listings carefully.
Who can benefit from this tool? The SJFN database is intended for use by funders, grant-seekers, researchers, and anyone seeking to expand their network of social justice organizations.
May I suggest updates or corrections? Absolutely. If you wish to update a current listing or have suggestions for a new entry, please
contact us.
Your input will help us keep the site up-to-date.
